For over 70 years, we’ve connected people, resources, and solutions to tackle the challenges that matter most to our neighbours.
So What Do We Do?
For over 70 years, we have partnered with charities, businesses, government, and volunteers who know our region best. Our role is clear. We raise the funds so our partners can focus on what they do best, helping people.
Every dollar raised stays local. It flows into our Community Fund, which fuels programs supporting youth, families, seniors, and individuals facing complex challenges across Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick.
But our work goes beyond fundraising.
We identify the most pressing needs in our region, from poverty and housing to youth mental health, food security, and transportation barriers. We convene leaders around the table. We align resources. We support collaborative solutions that create measurable, lasting impact.
In addition to funding local charities and programs, we also lead and administer key initiatives in our region, including direct community programs that provide essential services and connections for people who need them most.

We connect agencies, businesses, community groups, and government to tackle complex issues like housing costs, homelessness, youth mental health, youth employment, and food insecurity. No single organization can solve these problems alone—but together, we can.
We Build Sustainable Solutions
We work with local partners and community groups to identify needs, co-design programs, and strengthen the systems that help people thrive. We link community efforts so people and youth have support for as long as they need it.
We Provide Long-Term Stability
Our 5-year funding model gives our strategic and anchor partners stability to plan, hire, and focus more on impact and less on fundraising. Every dollar stays local. Every action fuels lasting change.

Through strategic partnerships, we support a network of local charities and programs that improve the lives of people in our communities everyday.
Our Programs & Collaborations
United Way delivers direct programming, not just funding. Through a number of programs and collaborations, we work to improve lives across Southeastern New Brunswick.
Provides individuals experiencing chronic homelessness with a safe, stable place to live and access to wraparound supports.
Delivers more than 1,000 meals a week to more than 280 low-income seniors, many living alone or unable to cook, for only one dollar per meal.
Brings mental health, employment, peer support, and primary healthcare together under one roof.
Strategic coordinators walk beside youth at risk, helping them reconnect to school and community.
Connects people to help 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Free, confidential, and available in 150+ languages.
Supports access to essential services, including food, healthcare, education, employment, and housing.
Creating inclusive spaces and meaningful opportunities for newcomers to connect.
