United By Song is not just a concert. It is a thank you.
This extraordinary evening is our way of honouring the donors, sponsors, volunteers, and workplace champions who stand beside our community all year long. It is a celebration of what your generosity makes possible.
Here is what makes it unforgettable.
Individuals whose lives have been changed by one of the agencies supported through United Way step forward and share their story. Stories of resilience. Stories of healing. Stories of hope found in the hardest moments.
Those stories are then entrusted to a local songwriter.
With care and creativity, each artist transforms a real life journey into an original song. Lyrics shaped by lived experience. Melodies built around courage and strength.
On the night of the event, those storytellers sit in the audience and hear their song performed live for the very first time.
There are no dry eyes in the room.
You can see it on their faces. To hear your own story reflected back to you in music. To feel your journey honoured, not hidden. To know a room full of people is standing with you.
And the impact does not stop there.
For our supporters, it is a powerful reminder that your gift stays local. That real people, right here in our community, are finding support, dignity, and new beginnings because you chose to give.
United By Song brings together music, storytelling, and gratitude in one deeply moving experience.
It is a night that changes the audience. It is a night that honours courage. It is a night that says thank you in the most beautiful way we know how.
