Debbie has been with United Way since 2004 and has shaped UW into a community impact organization while maintaining fundraising as a core part of its foundation. Previously, she was the Executive Director for Laubach Literacy NB and, before moving into the non-profit sector, she was both a post-secondary instructor and principal of a private college.
Debbie is a member of the Homelessness Steering Committee, a member of the Local Immigration Partnership and co-chair of the Welcoming and Inclusive Communities committee. Debbie also works on the Greater Moncton Literacy Advisory Board, Westmorland Albert Community Inclusion Network and volunteers with the Children’s Wish Foundation as well as being the Chair of the WA Action. Debbie was one of 150 Canadians selected to be profiled in The Philanthropist magazine.
