Caroline earned her CPA designation in 2002 and spent 25 years in public practice, the last 10 as a partner. Much of her work focused on not-for-profits, which shaped her decision to step back from practice and bring her expertise to United Way to strengthen her community.

She’s mom to two wonderful young adults and an outdoor enthusiast, runner, cyclist, swimmer, skier, kayaker, hiker, triathlete, and yogi. She also enjoys baking and crocheting, and jokes that while she may kill plants, she thrives in building strong communities.

Her guiding belief: It takes a community to raise a child — and even more when that child has special needs.
